Subject field session

Mia Vendt Striim and Balder Striim arranged a day for our smiths and engineers (15 people). A day where sharing knowledge and comradeship was in focus, alternating with theory and practice, all related to our daily work. Coaching

I have received coaching from Balder Striim to help me get hold of my finances. The coaching was good because it gave me the possibility to find alternative ways of thinking. Communication and coaching course

To me a totally new world has been revealed, with may interesting possibilities lying ahead. I have become much more conscious of my own effect on other people in everyday life. That there are as many different models of the world as there are people, and that every model is equally right for the individual.

The course has also helped me to a far better understanding of my own close relations (my nearest family). I feel that I have become much more understanding, and have improved my ability to inquire about different things instead of taking a defense position as I did before.

All of a sudden, I can hear and see if others are very visual/auditive, etc. I still don't know to where this course will take me, but I feel that I have just begun and that it all already has had an enormous impact on me.

Communication - general course

 This course has given me great insight into what communication is and how it can be used to our advantage. I have become much more attentive to body language (my own as well as that of other people) choice of words, eye movements.

At the same time as I become more observant on the above, I feel that the world around me is changing!!??

My greatest insight

 My most important insight is that we are all very much alike, but that we "manage"/use our knowledge in very different ways and that we by means of NLP tools can target/structure a dialogue better ... That, I think is rather fantastic.

About the instruction form

I have seldom had such a good teacher as Balder. He has the ability to get across with his message without ever becoming dry or boring. He is good at using examples from everyday life so that anyone can relate to the subject he is talking about. Balder has a nice warm sense of humour and is good at perceiving the sentiment of the team. He can also jump from a subject to an other without it ever disbturbing the form of his intruction, and still maintaining the leitmotif. Balder knows his stuff, and you sense that he really cares about what he is talking about, which of course has a positive effect on the whole team.
